Laminate Flooring Limited Warranty
Karma flooring’s quality laminate flooring has a warranty varying from 15 to 25 years, depending on residential or commercial use. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and proof of purchase is required for all claims. The warranty is for
replacement or refund of the laminate material only, no labour. The Warranty does not
cover chipping (laminate will chip if sharp objects are dropped on it), warping (laminate
warp if excessive moisture gets into the boards) or bridging (which is caused by
insufficient expansion spacing). We will not consider any claims for these problems. The warranty is pro-rated based
on the amount of time the floor has been installed. Humidity should not be allowed to
drop below 30% as it may cause gapping. If you wish to file a claim under warranty,
contact the authorised dealer where the flooring was purchased.
PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED IN THE BOX. CAREFULLY, BEFORE YOU
BEGIN THE INSTALLATION, IMPROPER INSTALLATION WILL VOID THE WARRANTY.
Laminate flooring MUST be allowed to acclimate to the temperature and humidity of the
room. Leave the closed package in a horizontal position for at least 48 hours prior to
installation. The preferred temperature should be 62-73° F (17-23° C) with a relative humidity of
40-60%. Panels MUST be checked for defects under suitable lighting conditions prior to
installation. Complaints concerning used planks will not be accepted. THIS FLOOR IS
NOT SUITABLE FOR DAMP ROOMS SUCH AS BATHROOMS, SAUNAS, AND ROOMS WITH
FLOOR DRAINS OR ROOMS THAT COULD POTENTIALLY FLOOD. MOISTURE IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY.
