About Hybrid Flooring
Hybrid flooring is steam proof and copes with various humidities, with certain humidity boundaries that must be met. We don’t adhere to the mostly mass market dialogue that Hybrid flooring is 100% waterproof, as no floating floor is 100% waterproof. Hybrid flooring is a great product, but we don’t recommend to install into wet areas such as bathrooms, vanities and laundries. Tiles are the preferred option.

Hybrid means a cross between two things. With flooring, it describes a product that combines the best features of both laminate and vinyl to create a floating floor. It’s really the latest flooring innovation within the industry.
Hybrid flooring is made of 4 layers. There is an initial pre-adhered underlay, providing quiet footsteps and comfort. Next, a composite core with limestone is used for increased water resistance, followed by a printed decorative layer with a woodgrain pattern. This is then covered with a UV-resistant top layer to protect against everyday wear and tear.
These boards also feature a patented click-lock system, meaning they are easy to install, but panels can be replaced and removed if damage occurs, without needing to deal with glue or saws.
