About Hybrid Flooring
Hybrid flooring is steam proof and copes with various humidities, with certain humidity boundaries that must be met. We don’t adhere to the mostly mass market dialogue that Hybrid flooring is 100% waterproof, as no floating floor is 100% waterproof. Hybrid flooring is a great product, but we don’t recommend to install into wet areas such as bathrooms, vanities and laundries. Tiles are the preferred option.

Hybrid means a cross between two things. With flooring, it describes a product that combines the best features of both laminate and vinyl to create a floating floor. It’s really the latest flooring innovation within the industry.
Hybrid flooring is a new flooring type, made with easy installation and repairs in mind. Laminate uses click-lock which, while easy to repair, requires a separate underlay. Vinyl has an inbuilt underlay, but needs to be glued down too, which means downtime and tricky repairs. With an inbuilt underlay as well as click-lock, hybrid flooring is quick to install, needing only 1 day depending on the size of the space.
