About Hybrid Flooring
Hybrid flooring is steam proof and copes with various humidities, with certain humidity boundaries that must be met. We don’t adhere to the mostly mass market dialogue that Hybrid flooring is 100% waterproof, as no floating floor is 100% waterproof. Hybrid flooring is a great product, but we don’t recommend to install into wet areas such as bathrooms, vanities and laundries. Tiles are the preferred option.

Hybrid means a cross between two things. With flooring, it describes a product that combines the best features of both laminate and vinyl to create a floating floor. It’s really the latest flooring innovation within the industry.
Hybrid flooring is made up of 4 layers. There is an initial underlay, providing quiet footsteps and comfort, which is pre-adhered. Next, a composite core with limestone is used for improved waterproofing, followed by a decorative layer with a woodgrain pattern that can be printed in any design. All of these are then covered with a UV-resistant top layer to protect against everyday wear and tear.
These boards feature a patented click-lock system, which means they are installed without glue or screws, and panels can be removed and replaced if damage occurs.
