About Hybrid Flooring
Hybrid flooring is steam proof and copes with various humidities, with certain humidity boundaries that must be met. We don’t adhere to the mostly mass market dialogue that Hybrid flooring is 100% waterproof, as no floating floor is 100% waterproof. Hybrid flooring is a great product, but we don’t recommend to install into wet areas such as bathrooms, vanities and laundries. Tiles are the preferred option.

Hybrid means a cross between two things. With flooring, it describes a product that combines the best features of both laminate and vinyl to create a floating floor. It’s really the latest flooring innovation within the industry.
Hybrid flooring is called this because it is a hybrid of laminate and vinyl’s best features. Hybrid flooring include underlay as a part of the structure, but while vinyl flooring must be adhered to the floor, hybrid does not need to be. Laminate flooring requires an underlay to be adhered to the floor before installation, but hybrid flooring utilises laminate flooring’s unique ‘floating floor’ construction, making installation simple.
