About Hybrid Flooring
Hybrid flooring is steam proof and copes with various humidities, with certain humidity boundaries that must be met. We don’t adhere to the mostly mass market dialogue that Hybrid flooring is 100% waterproof, as no floating floor is 100% waterproof. Hybrid flooring is a great product, but we don’t recommend to install into wet areas such as bathrooms, vanities and laundries. Tiles are the preferred option.

Hybrid means a cross between two things. With flooring, it describes a product that combines the best features of both laminate and vinyl to create a floating floor. It’s really the latest flooring innovation within the industry.
Comprised of a unique, 4-layer construction, hybrid flooring combines the best of laminate and vinyl flooring. First, there is an underlay (which comes pre-adhered), providing comfort underfoot as well as sound dampening. Next, A limestone composite core for increased water resistance is layered, followed by a decorative printed layer with a woodgrain pattern. Finally, this is covered with a UV-resistant top layer to protect against everyday wear and tear.
